About
Sylvie Redmond (b. 1980) is an interdisciplinary artist and mother working in photography, text, and the book form. After an early start, Redmond returned to photography in 2021 following a 14-year career in education. Interested in themes of time, family, and memory, her work explores the tendrils of connection that tie us to each other and to the places we call home. She is a 2024 graduate of the Photobook Long Term Program through the Penumbra Foundation and is currently an MFA student at the University of Hartford Limited Residency Program in Photography. Redmond lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her family.
